One of my all-time favorite albums. Basically perfect front to back. Instant buy on vinyl if it ever comes out.

  2. I’ve asked FBR to do it. They’re cowards. :-p

As if my current want list wasn’t large enough, I’m mulling over the idea of collecting my favorite Epitaph / Fat Wreck Chords bands albums now too. It’s a blend of me being nostalgic about my early punk rock days and this lovely addiction we all have.

I think I should avoid it but the currents sales are like a devil on my shoulder telling me to get a head start with some NOFX albums. Haha. Talk me out of it.

If you have a large collection, it will obviously take some time to add in Discogs, but it’s nothing you can’t do while watching tv or listening to music. Easier said than done with kids, I guess. It really depends what your collection is made up of. If it’s mostly recent stuff, it will actually fly by if you just go to an artist and start adding your variants. You can usually read the variant type and tell which one is yours. The codes matter more when it’s older stuff with a ton of represses out there. Like, doing classic Beatles and things like that will be time consuming if you have a lot of it. But, if you are just adding gaslight, metal, hardcore, and indie records it won’t take that long to log in Discogs.

I’ve got older stuff from my mom, though she still has most of it, but I’m focusing on my personal collection which is mostly stuff from the last 20 years.

Add 'Wonderland' by Forgive Durden to that list whilst you're at it. ;-)

Now for the important question: Which variant did you order?

That new Alk3 single, Bad Time, is good. I'm going to have to buy the vinyl now, I think.

finally spinning my copy of Anberlin's Convinced. anyone else's copy have a gap between Lacerate and Decoder, despite gaplessly flowing into one another on streaming? whoever approved this pressing without making sure the tracks flow into one another needs to be fired.

    If you don't, don't

Ordered The 1975's Live at MSG off Amazon this week and it arrived in record mailer which was then packed in another cardboard box. A bit excessive packaging wise, but damn that's the complete opposite from what I expect when ordering a record off Amazon

They must have learned their lesson because that's how they've been packing my records the last few times. I'll take it.

I checked this box a long time ago. Now all my amazon vinyl orders come like this. Their standard record mailer is weak compared to other companies

You can order from Amazon too? Even though it includes the import cost. Their packaging seems to be okay now.

  25. 42 bucks with shipping isn't horrrible. Wanted the album forrrrever, secretly become one of my favorite summer Sum 41 albums. Just a great pop-punk album that removed from following up Chuck and all these years later is just a whole lot of fun. Way better than Discog prices and what I contemplated doing at one point. Helps fill out that whole collection.

Can y'all see my bargaining phase?
