It was me! I was that guy. I stood shoulder to shoulder with Elf defending Fields. But at some point ya just gotta accept it is what it is. He was saddled on a bad team. His coaching sucks. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. I'm not giving a 2nd round pick to bail the Bears out of a bad pick. I'd take a flier on him, but fliers start in the 4th.

 

Especially considering all of the teams that Fields is an obvious improvement all of their QBs have...bad teams, no blocking, and bad coaching. You'd know exactly what you're getting lol

 

Don’t get a chance to see Fields play very often but in that game on Monday, dude was constantly making plays and getting out of sacks. But either his guys weren’t getting open or he was terrified to throw the ball down field because he held the ball a lot.

I also don’t think the Saints or Bucs** would be improved with Fields, and it could go either way with the Steelers

 

He holds the ball a lot when guys were open and he missed the window to throw to them as well. At that point it doesn’t matter that he can break out of sacks. The Bears offense can’t play with structure because he sometimes gets stuck on one guy who isn’t open until plays break down
