What does it mean to “push one leg” of a parlay

 

People from Iowa are not allowed to say this about states in the northeast

I don’t know how else to explain it other than one of the bets of your parlay is a push?

 

The true degenerate behavior is people who bet on WWE lol

 

it can be convoluted, but, it basically means one leg of your parlay tied. best example i can give is, say you bet a parlay on tonight's NBA games and you pick one game to do over/under final score, and say the over/under is 220. If the final score ends up totaling 220, regardless of whether you bet over or under, its a push, and a credible sportsbook will nulify the wager and keep the rest of your parlay in tact. it will change the overall odds of the bet and youll win less money if the rest hits, but its basically a break-even on a portion of your bet. you dont get money back, but you don't lose your entire bet slip.

 

this is saying that ESPNbet will just trash the entire betslip in the event of a push, which, is mostly bullshit.

my general rule of thinking is "dont make a wager youre not prepared to lose" - but there are instances where people have been done dirty by some of these apps.
