    That's a fucking outrageous penalty.

On replay, that’s never a penalty. Newcastle robbed a bit.

The two earlier were far closer to penalties than that. Very odd.

I don't understand how that can be a handball. It's blasted at Livremento at point blank range, hits his chest and bounces up into his leading arm, which is in front of him because he's running.

Are handballs justified differently in the CL?

Emulating? I'm stoked already. Really want to get into older Final Fantasy.

If I'm not too familiar with Linux, will that present a problem? I mean, I used to mod Morrowind so I'd probably pick it up, but is it kind on it's beginners? :crylaugh:

If you just want to play steam games, you don’t have to interact with the OS at all. Most things now, like getting the Epic Games store, or installing EmuDeck will have launchers available that are no different to installing a program on windows. It really depends how deep you want to go yourself. If you want to tinker with things you can, if you want it just basically like a handheld console you can also do that.

Yeah I think they are. The body to arm thing isn’t taken into account in the CL. United have had three (I think, two definitely) penalties conceded over the last two seasons that were the same as that.

Would be ecstatic if not for the fact he's currently being investigated by Korean police over the possibility that he filmed himself having sex with a woman without her consent, and it's serious enough that the Korean FA have even suspended him from the national team until the investigation is over! Hope it ends up not being the case, but it kind of seems like it might be, unfortunately, which is a huge shame.

The pundits were talking about it afterwards and apparently the CL rules are that it needs to appear intentional or the movement of the arm has to have been unnatural/create a larger silhouette. Neither of those things is true here.

Y’all gotta quit being surprised when PSG gets the questionable calls after they bought most of UEFA off years ago.

Just sort of feels like common sense has been lost when it comes to refereeing lately, and handball is just the most obvious example.

Livramento last night, Saliba vs Chelsea, Mac Allister vs Toulouse are just a few examples of crazy handball decisions. Are we expecting players to defend with their arms behind their back every single second?

If it isn’t intentional, and is kicked/headed at them at basically point blank range, why on earth would you penalise that? Especially in the box, where you giving a penalty that results in a goal 80% of the time.

That’s massive in a sport that is relatively low scoring. It means that completely unavoidable accidents change results, and therefore impacts the integrity of the tournaments.

Just feels like we need everyone to use their brain a bit, and maybe, if we need to, make it only punishable by an indirect freekick?

    hmmm

VAR invariably changes the nature and interpretation of a rule. And handball is better interpreted at normal speed than in slow motion replays. It's been a farce since the introduction of VAR.

Really like this hire, feel like if he brings some of the Sac Republic system, it will fit in pretty seamlessly to what the team has been built upon. Had wanted Nate Miller initially but that would have been a giant tear up of the squad and his system would have been more work to make fit and not sure we have the budget to be able to pull that off.
