I watched Glass Onion the other day. It was ok but not as good as Knives Out.

Watched Blue Eye Samurai, and it's definitely one of the better series that Netflix has put out. I loved it. I also finally watched Arcane S1 and really enjoyed that, particularly the animation.

I often feel like Netflix is my least favorite streaming service these days, so I checked my notes to see what shows I enjoyed this year, and there were actually a good handful.

Also watched Inside Job S2, Kaleidoscope, Copenhagen Cowboy, F1: Drive to Survive S5, Close to Home: Murder in the Coalfield, The Night Agent, BBQ Showdown S2. These were casual watches though and vary from decent to terrible lol.

 

Blue Eye Samurai and Beef were both great, especially BES. The character growth, dialogue, and just overall presentation was so much better than expected. Keep spreading the word so we can get S2. Considering it's a show about revenge against multiple parties, you can't just leave it where it left off :(

I also read an interview with the creators and I'm fascinated by the idea of Mizu in London and dealing with how they react to her Japanese side
I think there will be another Beef as well, but like White Lotus, it'll be anthology style with different characters.

 

I really loved the tone, aesthetic, and writing of BES, and the action was fantastic too. Mizu is one of my favorite protagonists in a while. Maya Erskine did a really good job voicing her. Need that S2 announcement asap.

 

Ok I am just convinced now that WBD just hates Looney Tunes.

 

I work in media research for the big N company. I haven't had a ratings panelist tell me they had crackle in forever.


Outside the big ones, Tubi is the one I see constantly. Tubi at this point is almost at the same tier of popularity as Apple/Peacock/Paramount.

Vudu is another one I am seeing alot.

the silent episode of Evil s2 is absolutely stellar. what is it with these shows and pulling off absolute classics as silent episodes? Evil, Mr Robot, Only Murders...

 

Started streaming The Middle on Peacock and man what a hilarious show. Nice to find something new instead of endlessly watching Friends all night. Patricia Heaton was great on Everybody Loves Raymond and is even better in this.

 

I dont even remember that episode, but man, I love Evil. It's been too long since the last season!

 

Good chance I'll be losing my Netflix login since I moved, so I'm trying to run through my backlog.

Watched Lost Bullet and Lost Bullet 2. Both were really fun. If you're in the mood for a simple action thriller with awesome fight and car chase sequences, def check these out. Some of the best stunts I've seen in recent years for sure.

After this drops I think I am unsubbing from Netflix for awhile. At least until the next Stranger Things season.

 

I have Netflix until the 14th since I got a free year through Verizon. Definitely not going to pay to keep it going.

Trying to figure out what to watch while I still have it tho. Tonight is the last great british baking show episode and there's a movie coming out the 8th I think and then the samurai cartoon. Might be it lol

I just looked up the IMDb for this movie, and I don't see a single Meerkat listed in the credits! Why would you lie to us like this?
