Reddit is convinced the "mix" of the album changed again - I listened to MTYK and Anthem PT 3 on Spotify just now and I'm not convinced that they are wrong, lol.

 

Someone can just compare the spectrals to see if they changed or not, I'm sure someone will soon

(Also, pretty sure AM tracks like Last.fm does, and that means one song on the album = a play. So 28 plays of 19 song album = 535 plays.)

 

I certainly hope so. The album is good but it is not 23 days straight consistently good haha

 

Well, last.fm sometimes double dips if a song starts and I pause it, then start it hours later. So, mine would be off. And it seems to put songs in a different order than track list, even if they all have the same plays.

Also, when I listen to playlists of a set I saw, that will throw things off, too.

 

I think I’ve listened to songs from that album 535 times, not necessarily 535 times all the way through.

The few weeks after it’s release it’s all I listened to.

 

I may be wrong, but the "plays" term for Apple Music regarding albums is referring to the total number of tracks listened to, not number of full-album plays. If you divide the plays by the number of tracks, that'd be 31 full-album plays, which makes more sense.

200 scrobbles is the most for an album for me (Some Nights) with the huge caveat that nothing I listened to in my car was scrobbled until maybe last year

 

My current top 8 most played albums. I started a new last.fm account this year, so this is not all time.

 

Can’t believe “One More Time” is already number 7 all time. I should give the album another spin. Listened to it twice and didn’t really care for it.

 

I only started re-scrobbling everything diligently like 3 years ago, and how much I listen to music during the day shot up too, so anything that came out over the last few years shoots up fast. Like, top 10 this year shows the albums I really liked over the years ended up going well over 100 plays.
