    I’m too compulsive to scrobble my music, I end up trying to listen to stuff more or less cause it doesn’t have enough scrobbles compared to how much I like it… and stuff I fall asleep listening to, or leave on in the car when the volume is down ends up being overscrobbled etc

    I feel you but we can change that at any given time. It’s not hard to just decide to listen to new stuff and be open to it, at least not for me.

    Some people act like listening to any music they don’t immediately like is torture, I can’t relate unless the music really is HORRIBLE. for me I can appreciate the art and their intent and listen to it at least once even if it’s not my thing

    my network of friends all really pay attention to new releases though so I just filter stuff through them lol
