Yep, loved living in Laurel over living in Annandale/Falls Church, even though if anything, the actual city of Falls Church is way nicer, entirely because of this.

In VA, you can take 66 or you can drive 5x as long a route through 20 stop lights. You can drive 495/95 or own a helicopter. In MD, you can drive 29/95/1/295 to go N/S, and there's a major E/W hub option every 2-3 miles.

The red arrow and green arrows see the same volume of traffic...no surprise 95 down there is so worthless

Literally all of this was true today. Maybe we can ding McManus for missing a 55 yarder or Etienne for a lackluster game against a defense clearly trying to scheme against him, but idk

if anything it was the defense that won the game. Offense got bailed out and somehow neutered Trevor from having an even better game than he already did with poor situational play calling and crucial dropped passes. But Trevor missed a clear opportunity to throw a second touchdown when all those penalties eventually gave us a Ridley TD, he wasn’t the MOST accurate and he also threw a bad pick trying to over anticipate the route, he’s still below 90

our one Superstar X Factor (Josh Allen) won us the game in the final drive, by sacking Stroud twice and putting the pressure on him on third and long instead of letting him check it down, and proved why I rated him as our best player. Allen is 100% the reason Stroud didn’t have enough time to let crucial plays develop that drive.

 

Going for it on fourth and goal and failing though. That was on Press. I would’ve liked to see Trev get the ball in his hands there. We only really gave Trevor one red zone opportunity to actually throw the ball in lol. Little bit different than if we were calling routes that go into the end zone multiple trips down there and he wasn’t delivering
