Jags can have one loss where Trevor Lawrence didn’t post a 100+ QB rating and everyone fades them

 

Not taking Saleh’s side here because he’s a clown, but a RB can get both the yards needed and big plays. Doesn’t mean one is a “big play” back and the other is a “power” back.

Right, like, don’t be openly criticizing one of your only good offensive players after you’ve been caping for Zach Wilson for well longer than you ever should have

 

I just don’t think Breece has the power skillset to fight for extra yards on a regular basis

 

That’s kinda the same reason we drafted Bigsby to counter ETN, unfortunately Bigsby absolutely blows so far

but I definitely notice that even though Etienne CAN fight for yards, he gets really exhausted when we keep running him up the middle and it saps him of his superior ability to get chunk yardage in open space where his skillset is more natural.

I feel like if you keep asking Breece to fight for tough yards, there’s a trade off where you lose a little bit of what he’s good at, and you should instead be holding your offensive line accountable for not hitting their blocks better because Breece rips off 50-70 yard runs when that happens.

If it’s just one guy, Breece and Etienne both have the agility to force an arm tackle and run through it. But if we’re talking about running into a wall of defenders, I’d legit rather a smaller back like ETN just go down if it’s first or second down and conserve energy for hitting the gap hard when the blockers get it right

We currently have a line of kitchen chairs draped by a sheet in front of our tree so that the child doesn’t pull off all the ornaments
