I think I disagree with that. The Cuban anti-castro paramilitaries I feel get talked about a lot. That was a big part of Oliver Stone's JFK and they were a big plot point in HBO's recent The White House Plumbers limited series which got into E Howard Hunt's role of essentially running covert CIA assets in Miami in 1963.

Also I feel like the story of LHO's obviously staged scuffle with anti-castro Cubans in New Orleans a few months prior to the assassination has become a pretty well known story.

 

I am kind of fascinated by the theory Matt Christman threw out there awhile back that maybe it was a staged assassination attempt (to give cause for an invasion of Cuba) and they fucked up and actually murdered the president forreal and then scrambled.
