If I was to just pony up and create a legit site for the league with forums of its own and everything, would you all visit it and use those forums for the league? I know that might make it a little harder to pull random newcomers from chorus (like how I came to the league), but it would make us look a lot more legit to potential new members. Plus there is a ton more I would be able to do in terms of features and pages and making it look sexy. Just trying to gauge interest because the site builder I am on now is limited since it is free.

Also if you would visit it, any ideas for the name of site?

 

If you are able to pull this off i see it as a very viable option IMO. We are loyal to chorus only because it used to be Absolute Punk. But now that it has shifted i hold no allegiance to it. I think it would be good for the leauge to pull in new members, and make signing up less confusing. The two guys i got to bite, got frustrated with the site and didnt like it so they bailed. So it was an issue for 2 possible new members already. Plus i dont think chorus really brings in a lot of traffic for us because it is buried in the board a little.

I could see the frustration with Chorus seeing as it is a music first forum. I just feel like the signup could be streamlined for our league. Plus that way people can have unique usernames and profiles and shit. It would give the league a fresh start in my opinion too, because it seems like it has felt a little stale to OG members this year, and the site could be the exact PED this league needs. It's only 12/month for the site and like 2.50/month for the domain so it isn't too steep especially if it is used often by everybody

but realistic should be something that might possibly pop up in the search bar when people search for madden leagues. Since there was a "daddyleagues.com" already we could do something in teh same vain so maybe it would get traffic through them trying to search daddy leagues.

Im down for it and into it for sure, but id wait for the old heads to chime in. I would definitely pitch in for the site fees too, even as menial as it might be
