They really do and the best warranties. My LG had/has like a 5 year warranty through Costco.

I almost wanna see about getting this to upgrade my bedroom set. Had a 42” Vizio since 2015. Has a few blotchy spots as it’s a panel and I’ve fallen asleep with it on too many times to count.

I used to buy electronic warranties through Costco, back when they didn't care whether you bought it from them or not, or even if you had a membership. It was from SquareTrade and they were about 40% of the cost of doing it directly through them, or elsewhere.

We have our state's first Costco opening up at the end of the year and I know I will be making the 70 minute drive more than I care to admit.

Pulled the trigger on the 55" TCL Q7 since Best Buy had it on sale for $549. Again not sure you can get anything better at that price, and I'm no expert, but I find it hard to believe you can get much better at all until you move up to an OLED which is twice the price.

Still need to mess around with with, but very happy so far, it's so bright.

lol I started and then kinda got overwhelmed. Will probably give it another whirl when I have more time. I do think it looks pretty good after some minor tweaks to the brightness and putting it on the movie setting.

I wish the 42" or 48" would, at some point, drop to a price that would make it too attractive to resist as an office monitor/gaming screen.

I don't need it and my wallet hopes it never happens, but if it does...

Make sure you have the pixel refresh setting on and you can manually run it too.

    true!
I heard that manual pixel refreshing shortens the lifespan of the TV but it does some sort of less damaging refresh after 4 hours of use when the TV is off

I just won a 65" LG OLED G3 TV in another sweepstakes - exciting, as out current 55" Vizio from only a couple of years ago was starting to act funny. Interested to see how well the darks are with an OLED.

My 65" E6 met its end last night. I turned it on when we went to bed and found a perfect line of dead pixels about 3 quarters of the way down the screen, extending about 3/4ths of the way across, horizontally. Ran a panel refresh, unplugged it, reset it. Issue persisted. Then, it began shutting itself off every 5-10 minutes. Now, it's got some new lines/clouding on white. Lasted me just over 6 years.

Now, the conundrum: the E6 was my bedroom TV (I've got a 77" G2 in the living room.) I had no intent on making a big purchase right now, especially considering we just had to buy a fridge, but, I also don't want to replace it with...crap. My local surplus and salvage store (which I've bought TVs and other major electronics from in the past without issue) had a 77" C3 for $1,300 as of a few days ago. I was already calling friends and family to see if they needed a TV, because that is probably the biggest steal I've ever seen.

Will I resist? Making a trip later today to see if they still have it...

If not, or if I decide to be a little more spending conscious, they do also have a lot of Samsung QLEDs. I'm not typically a fan, but for the right price, we'll see. I'm also not totally opposed to something like the Hisense U8K, which gets glowing reviews. Little weary about the brand, though.

Only have an older 2016 42" Vizio in my bedroom that's mounted.

Been wanting to upgrade to a 48" or 55" LG for a while, just trying to pay off the last little bit of bad debt I have before I do tho.

The 65" in our room really only happened because I upgraded to a 77" for the living room when we bought our house, and I still loved the E6, so, didn't have anywhere else logical to put it. Now that I've had it in there, though, I don't think I want to downsize.

Damn, $900 for a 42 inch C3 is a pretty sweet deal for a bedroom TV on Amazon right now. Wish I wasn't totally broke
