Looks like a car bombing at the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, NY. All the Buffalo area bridges to Canada are closed, federal office buildings in Buffalo are being evacuated and all cars going into Buffalo airport are being checked for explosives.

Car was entering from Canada, early reports of casualties.

edit: now some reports saying car wasn’t coming from Canada and was driving at extreme speed towards the border crossing station from the US side.

 

I guess it's good that the car blew up at the toll gate and not on the actual bridge. Still very scary.

 

So which way was the car actually going because I’ve seen conflicting reports

Yes I read it. It is deeply silly framing - it actually does a disservice to the need for serious climate solutions by presenting such an unserious argument.

 

I disagree. The richest people on earth continually invest heavily in fossil fuel and petrochemical projects and it is a major reason why we haven’t even begun to seriously transition.
