owns a home, is a chiefs fan, thinks hes better than me

 

Yeah no I absolutely look down on someone who willingly rents and apartment in long island
That defeats the entire purpose

 

Elf is jealous i have that kind of money to just piss away on rent

 

I'm angry you choose to piss that money away to drive to a Fudruckers to watch Donald Trump speeches instead of living in the city

 

This injury list is insane

 

number one fudruckers is an american classic number two what i pay for now is currently about $1300 more per month in the city

 

Not everyone likes to live in cities.

 

living in the city is a disaster everyone romanticizes living in manhattan until they actually do but unless you make 6 figures its not comfortably affordable (sorry elf) and youre just choosing between paying rent on time or having a social life. Or you can live comfortably within your means but that means either A. having a 90 sq ft studio (yes they exist) or B. Having 5 roommates all paying $1800/month.

 

everyone thinks its just like friends er mah gerd we can jog in central park and get coffee and drink at cute little cocktail lounges and then your bike gets stolen on day 3 and you watch a man shit down a subway vent.

 

but like i said the east and west villages are cool w.e

 

My friend lives in Brooklyn near the Bedford stop and it's probably what I would consider an ideal NYC location

 

Some people like some cities, some people don't like others

 

Was looking literally in that exact location the other day before my wife made an executive decision to choose LA over NYC lol

 

I remember renting a 3 bedroom, 2 bath probably 1700 sq ft house in Shawnee Oklahoma with a huge yard and a detached garage for about $1100 then going to visit my friend in Capitol Hill (I think?) Seattle and seeing her $1400 or $1500 month 200 sq ft apartment and thinking man I know you moved because you hate Oklahoma but uhhh wtf

 

I Truly have no idea why anyone would wanna live in Manhattan

and then people brag about how much their rent is lol like congrats on being broke and a dummy

 

I hate driving everywhere, especially in a city.

 

People will take the train from Trenton to NYC which is probably 80-90 mins each way every day to make that new york salary but not have to pay to live in NYC. And I'm like wow you waste your entire day working or commuting to/from work. Sweet life.

 

I’m gonna spend like 3 or 4 hours driving for work tomorrow which I rarely have to do and I’m annoyed with it

 

I'd MUCH rather take an 80 minute train ride than a 40 minute drive on the highway.

My preferred option is neither of those things though because they're both awful

 

If I lived in the city obviously give me the subway or whatever but other than that I like controlling my own destiny

 

Haven’t ever ridden a subway or train but I get carsick being in the passenger seat of a car so
