I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

This actually has the same writer, Michael Arndt, who wrote that one in the series, so you might be in luck

Yeah idk if this will reach the heights of Catching Fire, which is easily the best in the series so far.

Rewatched the first 3 of these so far, about to rewatch Mockingjay pt. 2, and heavily debating re-reading the books also and finally read the SB&S book too.

First is better than I remember it being, but still not as great as it could've been. Catching Fire is one of the best book to film adaptations to come out. Mockingjay pt. 1 is solid, but man they should've never cut Mockingjay into two parts.

On a high so my thoughts might change after sitting on it, but I loved this. I'll also say it till I'm blue in the face, but Rachel Zegler is a damn star. I think my main gripes are the length and the end feeling a little rushed? Picked up the book after the movie, time to dive in.

I haven’t seen the last 3 hunger games movies in years. I won’t miss anything will I?

No, this is a prequel so you could easily follow this without even having seen any of the other movies.

I haven't seen any of the originals since they came out but the first Mockingjay was definitely my favourite at the time.

Catching Fire is and always has been my favorite of the 4 films. I didn't read the books before I saw the films so the ending to catching fire was an amazing twist that completely caught me off guard.

Got tickets to see this in the dolby cinema tomorrow at 12 pm

    This is fantastic.

  17. Catching Fire is the fastest I've felt a movie go by at the theater. I remember feeling it ended too suddenly because I was so into the story.

I create content for some of your favorite artists

The first two acts of this are insanely good. The third I felt was drawn out, weirdly paced and scripted compared to everything else

Viola Davis and Jason Schwaztman are having the time of their lives.

Turns out I was wrong about my own memories and I’d seen the 1st & 3rd of these prior to the last week. Definitely though I saw Big Hero 6 & Mockingjay pt 2 on the same day but nope, different years.

Pt 2 is a half step down from the others to me but still mostly liked it

    seeing songbirds & snakes tomorrow

I liked this despite mostly not caring about these characters. I just find the world and the games idea fascinating, it’s fun to me as a surface level critique of entertainment/reality tv. The first series just also happened to have characters to care about, where this one has a pretty generic damsel in distress and a fascist to root for. Tigris (was that Hunter Schaefer’s character?) was the most interesting to me.

I liked acts II and III much more than 1. Surprised how short the actual hunger game was. I liked Lucy much more after act 1 as well. Her singing right after she is chosen from district 12 in act I had me rolling my eyes though. Glad I didn’t read the book before seeing it as I loved all of the plot twists.

I’d rank it above Mockingjay parts 1 and 2, but below Catching Fire and Hunger Games 1.
