Yeah, if MCS continues to tour on older material, I'm cool with it as long as it isn't always just IATM or CttM. I'd *love* to see an MDL or EIIKM anniversary tour or for them to play literally anything off of Go or PS with more regularity. I get that those songs don't pull nearly as much as the first two albums, but it would be so refreshing.

Of course, I'd never say no to new material, either.

From what I've heard, new music, at least one new song is coming. Justin's injury and recovery as well as personal events delayed things.

I would also like them to play EIIKM (which they will) and MDL.

It's just nice to see the boys again.

Didn’t they do gang vocals with VIP fans for a new tune?

Justin just confirmed on Instagram they're in the studio with Sean OKeefe making new Motion City Soundtrack songs, plural not singular.

Thank fuck. They're sorely missed. I hope Justin is doing better with his health issues.

No shade to the fans of Panic Stations, but I am very thankful that won't be the last major release we get from MCS.

With Tony Thaxton back in the fold, I think at the very least it will be better than PS. No disrespect to Claudio Rivera’s time in the band, but Tony is the not-so-secret weapon of the band. His drum parts are as catchy as the songs or what makes the songs a lot of the time for me.

  21. They can't just keep touring off of IATM and CTTM forever. Hopefully they get back into some tours with newer music included!

Motion City Soundtrack is one of those only bands (for me) I've always felt HAD to be the five of them. They work so well together and each bring such a unique aspect to the music. They've just always seemed like a good family.

There are other bands where people pop in and out all the time but as long as the "core" members are there it still seems like them. I just don't see it with MCS.

What amazing news. Love this band. I have even really loved some of Justin's solo stuff, especially the Permanent Midnight EP. 'You're The Reason' is especially great.

Either way, can't wait for whatever comes from these guys.

Pretty cool it's with Sean O'Keefe too! Can't wait to hear anything from that session. I've just found a Punchline Action dvd on youtube - and wow, was this guy REALLY young when making all those seminal pop punk albums back then
