I like Velvet Revolver, but I don't know if they belong in a top 5 supergroups list.

Then again, it's a fan poll so you have to assume it's just out of the bands their readers are likely to have listened to.

"Slither" is one of the better modern rock songs of that era, though, I gotta say.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

y'all don't even know Mad Season, best supergroup of that era by far

Audioslave were great but got worse each release unfortunately. s/t is still that good shit

That is unfortunate that you live in a universe where that happened. Didn't happen here though.

look I'm right and I don't wanna be. first album is near perfect, Out of Exile is half great and half not, the last album is a snooze bar maybe 2 songs. it is what it is, I still call myself a fan on the whole

Audioslave 's first album is fine at best, pretty huge disappointment after fucking RATM and Soundgarden, but it's fine enough radio rock. The other albums are bad

Nope. Weird that multiple people can have the same bad opinion, but I guess we do have that thread for a reason.

I looked up KJEE and I see it's a radio station, presumably where you live.

I'm going to assume you have some weird crazy totally justified vendetta bias opinion about their playlist?

  17. audioslave is good but boy that post is not

lol please don't say I have the same opinion as steve here. calling the first album a disappointment is not a take I want to be generalised into. Cochise, Show Me How to Live, Like a Stone and Shadow on the Sun all match up to anything Soundgarden or Rage did

Revelations might be bad but the first half of OOE, up to The Worm is straight heaters

So… they just ended their set in the strangest way possible just now. Literally just walked off, no mention before or after it was their last song. Just ended, and walked off. Never seen that before.
