really hoping this provides us both some clarity and some time to work on / focus on ourselves. We probably need it, it just sucks cause it feels like we argue about dumb things that aren’t worth it and then we can’t even agree what happened to cause that. but there’s an issue with the communication itself that’s ongoing… it’s just like, I hate feeling like a good thing is getting ruined over nothing.

definitely I have a lot of fault to share in it, I put a stronger effort to be gentle and patient with her than with anybody else - but y’all are definitely well aware of the fact that I struggle to communicate without pissing people off, and I get defensive when that happens. There are things she does that I don’t agree with as well - but I have this particular problem in other places so I can only take accountability for that and acknowledge the common denominator here. I wish that wouldn’t be my default and I wish I could be more conscious of my feelings before they reach that point where I’m just being reactive.

 

Gonna be hilarious if this Steelers team somehow wins the division...

 

Both my breakups before meeting my wife were "had to work right after" kinda nightmares; so I dont envy you. One was the way to the airport...it was a 6am flight, landed in DC, had to go to work after...the other, she called me at like 12pm and broke up with me from Africa.

Moral of the story: Breakups suck, but, they happen because you need to move forward. Maybe to a stronger relationship with the same person with the perspective of time apart...maybe to a person who suits you better. Either way, you emerge stronger in the aftermath, even if if SUCKS right now.
