Travis Barker of Blink-182 talks about the band, and life, in a recent interview:

Not only does Barker consider it their most personal record yet, but he also feels that the time they spent apart has resulted in them making some of their strongest work to date. “We had a lot to say, to write about and to experiment with after not being in the same band for however many years,” he says. “It was really exciting.”

“Everything has just been really organic,” he affirms. “If you’re just doing album cycle after album cycle, you do lose inspiration. For me, I’ve got to get out and live and experience something. I need some ups and downs. I need some of the best days of my life, and I need some tragedy.”

    Better than you, sorry

The hype on the album wore off for me and so much of it is amateurish and/or underproduced. Jerry Finn would make such basic chords and drums sound like a well-oiled orchestra.

Top tier Blink album. I've listened to it at least once a day since it came out and I still think it's right up there with their pre-Neighborhoods material. I'm not 10 anymore, so it's not some mind-blowing, formative record for me, but I'm just as obsessed with it as I was with the big ones.

    Might be Spider-Man...

Awesome album from start to finish. To this day I find myself singing "ole ole ole ole ole". So happy they're back

The blink spirit is fully there with the new album. I say fully because it hasn’t felt like thise since untitled era.

Idk what else fans could ask for at this point either.

The fact it’s a number 1 album says a lot too. At least to me it does.

It feels a bit like Neighborhoods in how random and out of place some of the songs are in relation to each other.
