I saw the opening night of this over the summer and it was pretty good. I'm really not into dance at all, but I could tell that the performers were great, and it was nice to see something new come out of this world.

 

Never bought a ticket faster in my life. As a playwright who has really immersed themselves in Sufjan's work over the last few years, this is exactly my vibe.

 

Chicago tickets for that are apparently on sale and I never got notified. Thanks Shakespeare Theater.

Wow that’s so awesome. It was such a cool thing to see live!

 

By the time I decided I wanted to see it it was well sold out here so I'll have to catch it if it returns.

 

I saw this show at Park Avenue Armory on Saturday. I don't say these words often, but the show changed my life. as a theater maker, a writer, and a Sufjan Stevens fan, I felt so beautifully connected with the story. if you have the chance to see the show, I implore that you do.

Wow the king of recording is apparently back at it

According to someone on Reddit he is recording an album right now with Denison Witmer. Sufjan went and saw the musical last week and someone talked to him and he mentioned it.

 

Denison is cool cool cool

 

Looks like it’s a Denison solo album with Sufjan involvement but still cool

Glad Sufjan is feeling well enough to be working on music again. He's been quiet lately.

 

yeah I was just thinking that he hadn't updated his health situation in a while. Not that he has to by any means, he was just doing so so regularly at one point.
