I THINK so. I think I remember hearing on an interview that Josh was asked if he'd want to do 39 and he said he was ready to go home cuz he didn't wanna be stuck in that house for 2 seasons back to back. I think Michelle or Tori echoed that, I think one of them said it was like a long vacation "wherever it's filmed".

 

God how I cant stand Big T. Lol and when they showed her in the morning without her hair piece thingy, she looked like Carl Winslow.

 

Rooting hard for Horacio, Ed, Cory, Chauncey or Olivia to win. The rest of the cast is eh.

And yes I’m so over Big T. I liked her until she freaked out when CT dumped her for Kam. She just feels like she’s entitled and I don’t understand why haha.

 

I still view her as a lay up for some reason. 100% Horacio, Ed, or Olivia.

 

She is a lay up. She’s not strong, not sure how smart she is (don’t think she’s a puzzle master) and has no endurance. She’s just kept around because she’s not a threat.

 

I did love Huey (I think?) calling out that no one said she had a master plan. I had forgotten about Ed - hoping he has a good season.

Olivia on Challenge Mania pod spoiler but really curious to see how whatever happened between Olivia and Horacio plays out.

For anyone who didn’t watch live, it is a double episode. Both eliminations were impressive.

The short clip of how the mercenaries can take $10k from their prize pot if they win the elimination is a fun twist.

 

Episode was too long for me to finish. Turned i off after an hour, but excited to watch the rest this evening.

 

I don't watch live, I get mine from other sources the next day and there was just one elimination. Hmmm let's see if I can find the 2nd part.

 

I love the challenge and have for 2 decades, but 2.5 hours in one night is rough lol. Just caught up. Wasn't thrilled with the 2nd elimination as I generally like that person and their attitude. Also, can we please get Big T off the show and series for good?

The way he was holding his arm and pacing in that first round, I thought he was hurt or something. And then to give him two points...

What do we think the "other" draw is? Both people maybe?

 

Honestly I thought the draw could mean vet's choice. Like I could see someone getting cocky like Emanuel and wanna boast and volunteer and the vet goes ok cool come down.

 

Jordan remains a cocky S.O.B. and the fact that he can back it up just makes me all in on it more.
I think the double cross could mean vet pick. Love that they can take $10k cause now the non-champs have to be a bit more strategic about who they are throwing in elimination so the pot doesnt lose money. Like for the girls, if you throw Big T down there or another weak woman, your pot is almost guaranteed to lose $10k.

Also, in this elimination I was telling myself the entire time the way to win is to run the clock out and Im glad thats how the winner did it. Smarts over braune

 

LOL that's the thing....you're 100% right. He CAN back it up. I was howling at his confessionals BEFORE he won thinking "dude is gonna look the fool if he loses, HE GAVE AWAY TWO POINTS HE'S JUST STANDING THERE" but goddamn. Jordan make it look like child's play.

But yeah with the concept now being CHAOS that what led me to believe it could be vet's choice. Of course it's something out of the challenger's hands and as TJ said to be the best you got to beat the best and I feel to be called out, singled out by a vet would be a badge of honor if they were to win. Your point of it being added strategy is something I hadn't even considered but it's super valid. Throwing down a Big T would be for the worse so on one hand they should be throwing down their strongest, but that's gonna have pushback too from the strongest competitors.

Running the clock was THE thing to do and I'm glad Jordan started doing it. Always thinking with the brain is a thing I feel the bets are gonna excel in where the noobs are just gonna get schooled. I could sense the frustration with Ciarran once Jordan started doing it.

Regardless, I think chaos is gonna shake things up quite a bit. I wonder if each vet is only back for one elimination....I hope not. Cara deserves more than one episode!

 

I think Jordan might be my 2nd favorite Challenger ever after CT. It’s truly incredible how good he is at this game/show considering his handicap. You have to wonder if he would be this good with two hands or only having one motivates him to be so good.

Him beating Josh at the tug of war elimination as incredible and last year on Ride Or Die in the rope elimination when he was explaining his strategy on how to win was so good.

 

Honestly I think he'd be just as good but also think his handicap is what drives him, as to prove he's not gonna be held down by it. He's talked about it before.

But yeah that tug of war vs Josh is a classic for sure.

 

So I saw a post that Jordan did on IG and it was actually 5 rounds. He won first one, Kieran 2nd put the rules were changed and Jordan was asking for clarification, so the third round when Kieran got the first 2 for free it was because Jordan was still trying to get clarification.

 

Yeah I had to look that up. Super interesting and it's kinda baffling that the editing team decided to trim all that out. I agree with Jordan, we would have def loved to see all 5 rounds.

 

I like seeing Jordan on my tv screen especially post-COVID.

I think if I were in the house with him he would drive me crazy and I’d “hate him”.

Every time I see Corey in his confessionals with that leather red vest and the hair I immediately thing of the Slim Jim guy from the 90s. Not Macho Man, but the other dude.
