Is there any particular reason Nunez (and van Dijk) get referred to by their first names? Noticed this awhile back on the FPL site but forgot to ask someone. Just curious.

 

For Darwin, I don't know his particular reason. Personally, I only said it in the same way that some people just say Trent when talking about Alexander-Arnold

For Virgil, according to wikipedia:
