Any speculation around Foo Fighters? Another act that seems long overdue for Coachella.

this is for @irthesteve but I’ve said before my cousin works for the polo grounds and I guess they found an old 2011 shirt hidden in the yard and he gave it to me lol.

I don’t plan on every wearing it since it’s absolutely thrashed even after a watch but it’s a cool little memento

 

Modern Kanye aside, that set from him was one of the best single sets I've ever seen in my life

 

it’s kinda crazy how much my music change has tasted to now back then I didn’t care about a lot of those acts besides the hip hop but now I would check out a good amount of the indie.

 

2011 was a damn fun year, the most memorable sets for me were The Mars Volta, Lauryn Hill, Sleigh Bells, Robyn, Cage The Elephant, Bright Eyes, Scissor Sisters, Good Old War, fun., Nas & Damian Marley, Kanye

Day 3: Good Old War - Eliza Doolittle - Delorean - fun. - City and Colour - Nas & Damain Marley - Fistful of Mercy - Ratatat - The Strokes - Kanye West

 

That was the first year I really wanted to go, but I couldn’t convince my mom to let me go until 2014 when I was 17

thank god like 90% of the time I lived in temecula was during the pandemic so I didn’t have to go anywhere lol

im lowkey surprised you didn’t see OFWGKTA just because of how that was around they were blowing up the hip hop world

 

I never liked them as a group and the shock aggressive thing they had going on, I only really got into Tyler during Igor

Also aside from this alleged Lana confirmation the names I am seeing most speculated are The Rolling Stones, Dua, and Tyler on Inforoo but there’s a lot of chatter over whether Tyler is big enough to headline or not or be in the RTTD spot (and there was quite a bit of chatter over whether Lana could headline after she was not top billing at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands). Personally I think he’s big enough especially since he sells out Camp Flog Gnaw every year now so there’s a demand for him in California.

Last time I saw Lana at Coachella is was one of the most boring sets I've ever seen

 

Steve the kids just love her these days

 

Gen Z loves chill music

 

I can't imagine her doing an amazing headliner set but I would love to be surprised

 

Doesn’t Lana put on lackluster performances?
