Definitely a tiny thing but when my bf uses the shower when he slightly points the showerhead so the water is hitting the inner plastic liner. I hate the sound it makes. The first thing I have to do when I turn the shower on is point it towards the shower wall so it's quieter because I legit loathe the sound it makes against the liner

 

So..I just bought a fabric shower liner and it’s good enough that I might as well be posting it in the “reasons to keep living” thread. During the first shower I was like, “what feels so different about this…” and then realized it was the quietest shower I’ve ever had because the water wasn’t hitting plastic.

 

I just moved into my new apartment, which I love, but…

I don’t have a physical key apparently! It’s an app on my phone! Stupid!

Stayed in an air bnb that was like that with 3 other friends and only I was allowed to have the app to unlock the door because I booked it. It sucked.

The skin on my arms hurt and idk why. It feels like it got rubbed raw or sunburned except it looks completely normal and I didn't do anything to them. No redness or irritation. Except now as I'm typing I wonder if it was friction from dumb forearm planks. Which seems ridiculous but all I can think of.

 

Been getting a lot of very weirdly detailed spam emails and texts.

On one hand it makes it easy to decipher that it’s spam just from the subject line / first line of the email I see without clicking on it vs a vague spam email that makes me worry about something and wonder if it’s true but still annoying and dislike how many I’ve gotten the last week or so after barely getting any for awhile. Makes me wonder what company sold my shit or got hacked.

 

I'm so glad my phone auto archives spam texts, it's insane how many political ones I get

 

Last year my doctor told me I was pretty healthy, but my cholesterol levels were a little on the high side. So in the last year I’ve been eating just a little healthier and biking more instead of driving to try and get those levels down. Fast forward a year later and the doctor told me my cholesterol levels are exactly the same. All that for nothing.

Things being made smaller that are already small enough.

Saw a candy display for mini Skittles.

No one has ever looked at Skittles and thought, “boy these are enjoyable but I wish they were smaller. These are too filling/hard to eat at this size”.

But then again I feel the same way about M&M’s and mini M&M’s have existed for decades so what do I know.

 

Plus, mini M&Ms are fantastic

My wife's cousin and her husband are doing an affiliate digital marketing thing, the text is copy/pasted with emojis so I know it's some kind of MLM and it's literally all they post about

 

Got a "raise" but since I'm paid on production I'm not actually making any more money bc this new position means I basically get all the hardest jobs. They failed to mention that part to me when I accepted of course!! They said I would just be working on all accounts which I had been doing but ever since accepting the position, I have almost exclusively been getting work from our most difficult account. But they of course have excuses as to why that is happening. I'm gonna be poor forever.

 

Some ppl are being so loud it sounds like elephants running upstairs. I live on the top floor. Are they on the roof?? What is life?
