Reading into Riley's recent IG post, it sounds like they're taking some time off for the holidays before they head to Europe for more TAITA shows in February. That means their nostalgia tour won't be done until March. A late 2024 record release is still possible if they've been demoing all this time, but who knows how much time they've had to do that while on the road so much.

Excluding the hiatus years, they've never had more than a 3-year gap between records (Palms September '18 x Horizons September '21). I realize I should cut them some slack since they released TAITA 2.0 earlier this year, but I can't help but fiend for new Thrice. I'm sure Epitaph is too since they blessed their TAITA self-release in lieu of a more immediate Horizons follow-up.

 

Horizons is their best album post hiatus so I'd rather them take their time with a proper follow up imo

 

I’ll just occupy myself with other new release until Thrice puts out a new album. Not worrying myself about the gap between H/E and whatever is next

 

oh yes, they can take however much time they need. Every release from Thrice I'll just be glad they've come back from their hiatus and we're still getting anything ;d

Hoping for a H/W next year too, but won’t be shocked if it’s early 2025. Dustin has a solo album coming out in the spring and I’m sure he’ll do a short tour for that.

Dustin posted something on Patreon recently about his new country-tinged solo album. I’m not a subscriber anymore but someone in the thrice group (in exile on Facebook) posted the gist; out sometime in the spring.

Had my library on shuffle last night and had Abolition of Man come up from the OG TAITA and see that the album is in Dolby Atmos now. Definitely want to go back and listen to it in full to see if there’s anything too meaningful of a difference compared to without it
