Im hyper focusing on this now, but 10 miles west of Boston is like, Waltham, Watertown, Newton which is very much NOT this lol

 

The biggest issue I personally have with Disney is it's a terrible value for the amount of money you spend. I could have gone to the outer Banks at least 3 times for what I paid for this trip.

It's also probably not a great trip for first timers. Luckily my wife and mother in law are Disney people and go a lot but if you've never been before, you may not understand you really have to buy the genie plus and individual lightning lanes or you will barely get in any rides. I saw someone online basically say you need to be a project manager during your trip to get anything out of it which is pretty true.

Had fun overall. Went a few days too long. Rise of resistance is a goat ride.

 

yeah, i'm a planner and i even think what they've got going on there is a little *much*. i don't particularly like spontaneity on a vacation where that much money was spent but, they've completely taken your decision to just *be* completely off the table.

 

I looked at going to Disney right before COVID, and as I was researching it, it was like I had to learn another language to understand all of the different passes, parks, perks, etc.
