I hate that I kinda want to go to that 30STM/AFI tour because I love AFI so much and I'm a big fan of the first three 30S albums. Leto has become so insufferable though and their newer music is so bad (and I've heard their live show has nosedived too?)

Maybe I'll go if I can get in for cheap

 

Good News For People Who Love Bad News by Modest Mouse is 20 next year. But I doubt they’ll do a tour for that

Don’t know how true in reality it actually is, but recently Rivers talked about talking about doing a tour with Slipknot in 2002. But it fell apart cause they couldn’t negotiate some sort of guarantee if the tour couldn’t finish or weezer had to drop because the fans couldn’t co-exist.

that’s what I mean, I wasn’t sure if he was being serious. It was said in a straightforward manner, and Rivers is a very big metal guy. I’m always surprised they haven’t tried to take some small metal bands out here and there.

 

I remember having a cd of Weezer’s 2002 Reading set and he dedicates one of the songs to Slipknot, saying they’re one of his favorite new bands.

I mean I’d go in a heartbeat, but I mean you certainly could convince folks that a weezer/mastodon tour makes sense, or Every Time I Die opening for weezer in like 2017 could have been a thing.
