It is not. The Elephant Man and The Straight Story are his most accessible. Blue Velvet or Twin Peaks are probably after that.

    Eraserhead is a perfect film.

Not sure you’re seeing the same thing but i’m referencing Twin Peaks: The Return. It was the season that came out on Showtime in like 2016

Ohhhh, duh, I knew there must have been context I was ignoring! Didn't realize the Twin Peaks revival was literally called The Return, haha.

  12. Rewatched The Menu last night, comes very close to being great until the third act. Solid, satisfying movie with a great cast that just gets a little too big for its britches.

Also did Violent Night. More fun than not, but the humor was cringey at times.

Really wanted to like It’s A Wonderful Knife but it fell flat for me. Lots of promise that just didn’t really deliver. There’s definitely some good stuff sprinkled in and throughout and It’s great to see something like this getting a theatrical release

  15. I'm definitely catching it in theaters, but I'm wondering if/when it will hit Shudder and if it could be part of TLDI Christmas special

I watched Skinamarink and Doctor Sleep last weekend. Didn't know anything about either beforehand. I hate kids being targeted in horror movies so it was rough! But I enjoyed both
