We are still bullying a guy from ESPN who said last week that the Jags are moving to London

 

I don’t know that Nico/Tank/Woods looked all that much better on paper to start the season than Thielen/Chark/Marshall/Mingo. And outside of Tunsil, neither did the Texans’ OL

I don’t really have a conclusion I’m coming to, just that I think the pieces coulda/woulda/shoulda been there for CAR and aren’t for whatever reason

 

Joe went 2-7-1 in his rookie year & had a few games that were Akili Smith levels of bad (I remember the game in Pittsburgh in particular). Had a few games where he dragged the team to a field goal finish or something close, though. We had Boyd/Higgins at least.

I personally like going to that stadium and seeing old homies and having a free place to crash and an excuse to go to a beach. Jags in London would make them inaccessible

On a larger scale, the Jaguars actually mean a LOT to the local community. It quite literally would be ripping away one of the only things that culturally unites such a spread out & segregated city. It’s a small market, and it’s a team without much success or history, but it’s the only nation-wide thing that Jacksonville has ever had, so even people who don’t really care about football still support the team.

 

By 2250 all of Florida will be under water so who cares if the Jags stay.
