not to relitigate but bryce taking an extra step in his drop back and looking for openings that worked in college and plainly do not work in the nfl is not anyone's fault but his. he is getting pressured and the offensive line is doing him no favors but he also is simply taking too long to make decisions as well. sure, some of that can be helped by not having an anemic receiving core and a better line. but it is, at best, 50% his fault. and im not sure it's going to get better.

I mean yeah! Addison has 7 touchdowns lol. Even if Jefferson returns that just takes pressure off him against elite coverage. I like Dobbs as his distributor better then Jaren Hall too. It’s just the matchup vs NO I don’t like, their defense is actually rock solid.

Dell’s matchup ain’t great either, but yeah the chemistry between him and Stroud is visible

i mean, for sure lol. that doesn't mean we can't call out his faults. it isn't everyone else doing shitty and him trying his best. he is just as bad as everyone else on the team.

 

Lockett plays weak ass Washington this week, and I was already smart and played D’Onta Foreman in my flex. I don’t think Addison’s putting up 17 points this game. But Dell is also a magnet for big plays downfield and Stroud is a lot better at seeing those and making them happen

 

Yeah, he’s a rookie quarterback. That tends to happen, haha. Jalen Hurts was a mess when he first started playing too, and he actually did have the luxury of good coaching and supporting cast from day one. I just wouldn’t act so hopeless that he can develop, it’s a 3 year process not an 8 week process. He does nice things from time to time in that shitty offense

 

i feel like we're talking in circles a bit. i agree QBs can be bad as rookies and get better, obviously haha. almost every example of a QB having a huge bounce back though isn't also a historically tiny QB.
