    Seattle Seahawks

I think Daddy did change some of the time settings but they may have been wiped out with the last patch.

I am too, I'd also be down to just try 8-10m quarters and see how it goes

Could we possibly introduce position changes if the player in question fits a certain preset attributes and such?

Like, say I had a 6'2 235 pound TE with 84 speed, 86 accel, 78 BC vision 82 elusiveness and 88 truck and wanted to move him to RB for short distance 3rd downs, I feel like that would be somewhat realistic, according to the load of position changes in real life.

Or a 6'4 safety that is wholly better suited for OLB than safety because of poor zone coverage and such.

Could this become a thing if it had to go through a process of being inspected and accepted?

I feel as if this would add a whole new level of importance in our drafts.

The time adjustments are still there. 7 min quarters and 15 accl clock. Have not heard any complaints about it until now. I've been fine with it, actually makes for fairly realistic numbers at the end of the game.

Personally, I'm fine with where it's at, but we can bump it if need be.

Why not though? Safeties move to linebacker all the time, WRs in college go to HB, smaller tight ends move to RB and FB. If we can control the changes, this would be cool.

I mean if realism is the goal, saying hell no to that is just ??

Safeties can't be moved to lb because of the way speed works in madden

theres plenty of options already, you dont needa scum and change things just to get a couple yards.

I have a 6'4 83 speed safety, that's why I said within a certain guideline of preset attributes.

You're clearly missing the point, that was an example buddy

People will just take a safety that's remotely resembling an lb that's way faster and put him at lb and coverage will be whacky to because everyone will just have 4 Safeties on the field we'very gone through this before and that's what eventually happened

hes a freak safety then, leave it at that. Theres plenty of freak athletes that come into the league and cant make it.

It's a whole lot easier to move from a WR to a TE in madden and make him a stud then irl.

Every average WR that's 87-89 SPD or even 84-85 becomes a damn good TE, which makes virtually every TE in the draft irrelevant or relegated to glorified olineman. It makes every average 86-87 speed safety a stud LB with speed. Just because it happens irl doesn't mean it should in madden or makes it more realistic.

WRs occasionally lineup as RBs in madden as well. Doesn't mean someone should turn AJ Green into a HB and hand it off to him 20x a game.

alrighty, thought I'd recommend it. The plain ol' rules that have been working real well to keep the league alive is perfectly good with me

@Believeland I feel you, but from our experience position shifting has generally been a problem and leaves too much open to interpretation and interpretation causes argument

I'm perfectly good giving my 97 speed RB the ball on short distance situations hehe

Yeah, and I'm guessing he has decent zone. Which automatically makes him a damn good LB. I'd venture to say there's more than one or these types of safeties out there. They would be a massive surplus of stud lbs and TEs in this league.

Yeah, he's like 71 zone which is pretty decent. I just was thinking it'd be a cool way to make shitty players a possible starter for teams that are struggling at a certain position.

Just wanted to reintroduce the idea, but I completely understand why we wouldn't
