Their show on Friday was super awesome. It was packed. 5 bands on one bill in 2023 is absolutely wild though.

Okay it actually is def named after the casino. That's dope.

“We all grew up in the Boston area of New England. Foxwoods is a casino in Connecticut where your trashy grandma or aunt who lives in Massachusetts would go… An image came to my mind that felt like gambling on a Sunday. You’re on the East Coast in this isolated casino, and it feels like the dark shadow over Boston. It’s less of a nod to the casino itself and more of a nod to where we grew up.”

 

Don’t have much to add or say, but I am genuinely surprised by how much I enjoy this album.

 

Just bumping to say this album rocks, feels like it got lost in the shuffle of all of the other October releases

 

I like this album a lot, but I feel like not getting it out in the summer was a substantial error. Big pop-rock songs like this are really what I want in June, July, and August, but not as much in October/November. I haven’t reached for it as much as I would have a few months ago.

 

Both of the night game albums grew on me and became some of my favorites from the last few years, so I expect this to do the same

 

totally agree, which sucks because this is such an awesome warm night, crack a few beers album

 

I'm already planning on bringing it back into big rotation next spring/summer. I just wish it had been an August release!
