Listened to it again on my drive to work. My opinion did not change. Sorry, I tried.

Dead American who have 17k monthly Spotify listeners vs nearly 1 million for Saosin?

  5. Self-Titled spin today ... every time I'm reminded how damn good it is.

The self-titled is my all time favorite album, but I'm also a weirdo who loves everything the band has put out, to varying degrees. Even the stuff that's not their best (ISOSG) still instantly takes me back to a specific points in time in my life and how their music was there with me. I've seen them countless times with both Cove and Anthony and have loved every show. This is just that band for me.

Did anyone else discover this band from the NCIS: Official TV Soundtrack, Volume 2?

Funny story for me about this band. I basically discovered them from watching Fuse back in the day. Saw the 7 years video and then eventually the Bury Your Head (OG version) video. I knew they had two different singers but didn’t know much about them/the band. Eventually saw the video for Voices and thought they had a 3rd singer and eventually figured out Cove was the same singer lol

Do an album with cove and Anthony, each gets a side

  13. I will stand up for ISOSG, I love that record. If I had to rank it would be my least favorite Saosin record but that is really meaningless because it still beats out most post-hardcore records for me. The Alarming Sound of a Still Small Voice is my favorite Saosin song.

  14. Cove sounds so good here. Got me smiling through the whole thing. Getting to perform all these songs this many years later must mean so much to him.

Gray EP versions of the ISOSG songs are better

Saosin demos are great. The Capitol demos were some of my favourites.

Some of the videos of Cove coming out are super great. It's really surreal to forget *this* existed. As someone else mentioned, it's kind of crazy how long Cove wasn't a part of Saosin for.

They haveeee to bring him in permanently.

Visited a record store while in Philly late last year and stumbled upon a used copy of self-titled for $145. Had it in my hand but talked myself out of it cause it was close to the holidays and all that. I’ve regretted it every day since. It’s easily my most-wanted album.

Im tired of Anthony and all his shenanigans and his phoned in writing lately. I second this motion. With today’s tools and Beau’s production skills they can make him sound bug album good.

What shenanigans? Touring in support of the new LS Dunes album and his new solo album and the new TSOAF EP?

And I cannot imagine consider his writing on Boom Done and Past Lives as “phoned in”
