All good. Self titled and steal this record are all on Hollywood, so I don’t foresee those being pressed any time soon. Not sure where the ownership rights would be.

    Well there IS this:
    FINAL FANTASY IX VINYL

But yeah, 6 is an all time great. Easily in my top 5 FF . Would love an HD version of that, I'd love to see the World of Ruin in HD. 9 is also rumored to be getting a remastered "touch-up"...

Yeah I know about the picture disc! But... Picture disc. Lol

FF6 remake would be epic! FF9 remastered would be brilliant and I'd probably lose my mind. The ending always tears me up lol.

A few years ago I revisited FF8 on the steam version on Ps4. I used to hate FF8, but became more appreciative of it all these years later!

Haha like I said .....there IS that....but yeah I feel the same. I'd really like to get the FF11 record.....but it's a picture disc....

There was a report from a couple months ago saying that internally, the most wanted remake that people in the company have said they want to work on is FF6. Now whether or not that ever happens is anyone's guess BUT there's definitely interest.

How do you all organize your records?

It’s taking me longer and longer to find records lately. I’m leaning towards alphabetically by artistic, then chronologically by album.

Artist and then chronological. However I’m not consistent for things like TWY anniversary box sets or Sleeping on Trash.

  14. I come off as sane and normal because mine are alphabetized but my red flags are that first name-last name artists are sorted by first name, and multiple albums by the same artist are sorted alphabetically instead of chronologically

alphabetical by first name, then chronologically within each artist (including boxsets). rerecordings/new versions of old albums (like Taylor Swift or that instrumental version of The Fragile) are exceptions to the release date rule, in that they're being placed where they fit within the artist's discography instead of by year of release.

  16. is alphabetical within the same artist Actually Bad™? That's how I do it, I blame working at the library as a teen.

  17. Also box sets are separate just because of how my space is laid out

  18. It used to be just in the exact same order as it was on Discogs, when alphabetized. But then I ran out of room and now it's just fucking chaos.

    Exactly what I do.

And the few 10" records I have are at the end, hidden from view, never to be seen again.

  20. In my experience it seems most people sort them chronologically. But that method didn’t even cross my mind until I was in too deep to care lol

Alphabetical then chronological for me. Where I am probably incorrect, is with solo artists because I sort by last name instead of first name. Boxsets and 10"s have a separate place, as do my 7"s. However, like Jason, I have run out of room so my recent deliveries are in that "chaos" state as well. Ready to choke things back after this Parting Gift drop.

Alphabetical by first name, then chronological. Mine gets a little chaotic in that I also group in side projects with their main band. So for example, with Paramore, mine goes After Laughter -> Petals for Armor -> Flowers for Vases -> This Is Why

My blink section is the most complicated lol

#'s, A-Z by first name (omitting 'The' or 'A'); chronologically by artist. Anything that isn't 12" or 10" is just not really on the shelf.

#’s, A-Z, alphabetical by first name, chronological by release order, 10 in and 7 in at the end (in a more perfect world all releases are only on 12 inch and we banish the rest to hell))
