yeah idk i feel it's a great transition album sonically but a little clunky for me at times, feel like YAMS and Ixora did it better
i do like it though

 

i totally get that perspective. i mean those two albums are really them perfecting their sound that they had been building for so many years. i just think ESR was absolutely a perfect transition to where they are now. i still remember the "holy shit" moment of hearing those opening notes of "where's my head". i mean that was really uncharted territory for them at the time.

I had a really great time, seeing all of Ocean Ave was really great and they sounded perfect
