Keep Going really reminds me a lot of that frantic youthful energy they had on TAYF and all those new live songs pre-John and Shaun leaving. It almost feels like it started as them revisiting a demo from that time and reworking it for who they are now. Just a great track.

Yeah this is officially a real annoying thing to have be associated with the release window of a great album.

Love that we've reached the stage where people are just throwing up their hands and walking away in disgust.

 

I honestly don’t love that, lol. It kinda sucks. But, if people are gonna be that weird about others liking that album, I guess that’s their choice!

If people weren’t so irrationally passionate about hating that 2009 album, I promise the playful ribbing over differing opinions wouldn’t feel so weird.

 

I like this new album a lot! I keep getting the chorus of Quit Trying stuck in my head

 

I thought it would become repetitive and annoying, but god damn they made it so catchy. I love John's "OH MEEE OH MYYY" too. It's one of the highlights for me.

 

I like that song, but I really came around in a big way on Lightbringer. The last 1:15 of that song and the last minute and a half of New Music Friday are so damn good.

God damn You Can’t Back Look Back is the best song they’ve ever written.

 

For YCLB Adam actually sounded better than on the album. Think he’s figuring out his new range.
