Yeah, this is a certified banger, just like I thought it would be. I like that this album cycle seems to be "just put outva normal fucking Green Day album," and it's great so far.

 

I honestly think this might be my favorite song of theirs since American Idiot era. Agreed with it giving off some Nimrod vibes. 2/2 on the new songs… I’m getting pretty excited for this album.

I like Look Ma but it isn't an immediate must listen again like American Dream. But 2/2 so far. 3/3 counting the leaked One-Eyed Bastard.

 

I feel like they've released "American Dream" so many times over the last 20 years. "Look Ma" still sounds like Green Day, but a new and refreshed sound. It's not paint-by-numbers Green Day TM like "American Dream" is. I like when they shake it up and change things up a little bit.

 

I have a good feeling about this album. I think it'll be my favorite since American Idiot. It's a mixture of having fun but having integrity at the same time. That's when Green Day succeeds the most for me.
