Kinda like the other two, it feels like a Lennon solo song, doesn't really have that Beatles spark. It's nice, but not all that exciting.

    Nice song!

  9. Well I for one really like it and think it does indeed recapture even just a sliver of The Beatles magic, which is all I wanted. It's a beautiful and haunting melody.

My only issue is the strings remind me of the Phil Spector strings on Let It Be.

The build up is something else. Wild we got this.

Thank you, John, Paul, George and Ringo.

Cool video aside from whoever greenlit the shot of them green-screened in singing with each other haha

Oh so they're really good and make the album way better? I agree.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

strings on Let it Be are so much less egregious than the sequencing lol. only Spector's mind could possibly consider that a good album flow

anyway this song is fine but like the other anthology songs, the idea is more interesting than the final product imo. do not hear the George touch on here at all, I seriously doubt he contributed anything to it at all

Yeah, George is on record saying he doesn't like this song at all haha

weird fucking video, just got around to watching it. Seeing current Paul and Ringo singing along makes me like the song even less haha, focusing on their old man voices with young man John, it doesn't sound that great.

  22. Getting into this band for the first time. Didn't realize how many songs I already know... it just never crossed my mind they were theirs.

Any pointers on where to go once I'm done with their discography? I assume Paul has the most prolific solo career?

George Harrison’s “All Things Must Pass” is a must. Then Lennon’s first solo albums (Plastic Ono Band & Imagine) and McCartneys first 3 (McCartney, Raw, Band On the Run)

paul's is most prolific but it's also the worst of the three. george's solo career is the best by far

George has the highest highs, John starts strong then kinda fizzles, Paul has sprinkles of greatness all throughout but so much material for beginners. His greatest hits is jam packed
