    did you dream much
did you think there's got to be a way
    did you give up
has the real world whisked your hope away
now do you feel like anything you love is really worth anything?
    what's that feel like?
can you tell me what it feels like?
to have something to hold onto?

okay i'm done for now! just...very excited to have an album like this. it's like empire! empire! meets hotelier meets mineral and i am absolutely fucking here for it, haha.

This fucking rocks! I’ve had this since Tuesday and listened to it 4 times so far. The highs are impossibly high but it seems too long for me and the sequencing seems weird. The song Enough seems to drag the album down and doesn’t justify its length. Also Passenger is a good song but I don’t like it as the closer. I think I’m going to make a playlist where I mess with the order a little and maybe take out Enough.

I had no clue this even existed. I adored the self esteem album. What a treat!

It fills the giant Hotelier sized hole in my heart.

ok yeah the hype is real

it feels so pointless to say again but idc this is just like when I first heard home, like no place is there or first hearing the world is a beautiful place

the fact that it is just an affirming record immediately, you listen and you go hell yeah emo is legitimate, it is here, and this is the tentpole right here get under baby

just so tight and versatile, never feel like they’re repeating themselves. this is gonna be fun to dig into thoroughly

Checked this out after seeing some chatter on Twitter, and did not expect a song like "Road" in the track 2 slot. That's like putting "23" at track 2 on Futures!

I’ve been traveling and just blasting this album in the car the last two days, looking at all the fall leaves. Absolute bliss. What People Call Low Self-Esteem is already one of my all time favorites and this is more than I ever could have expected in a follow up.

  13. This album is just incredible. I still wince sometimes at the vocals just not quite hitting a note the right way, but I think overall it works. This band is severely underrated.

After more listens I like Enough a lot more than before. And moving Road from the 2nd song to the last song fixes all of my sequencing issues. This album really is something special

I’m glad Enough grew on you because that’s one of my favorites on here! That middle section is perfect. (Pretty sure this is like my third time saying that, haha.)

IMO this record really feels like a spiritual successor to Goodness and Harmlessness - immediately strikes you with a feeling while at the same time being super dense with so much to unpack. The lyrics are incredible.

They’re (ABSIB) coming to Chicago the same day as The Hotelier and it’s the worst conflict.

Haven't gotten to sit and listen to this album enough yet but bloodline came on shuffle and was followed yes! yes! a thousand times yes!, which made for a really nice combo on my drive to work.

The “COUGHING UP A FABRICATED SWEETNESS!” part of Far is one of my favorite musical moments in recent memory.

Didn’t know much about this band but saw them live this week in DC and it all clicked and I started crying at the show which i haven’t done in a minute

I saw their show earlier in KC tonight and it was better than I could’ve imagined. This album seems like it will be an emo classic that people will come back to for years to come. She is such a good songwriter
