My wife can't listen to any conversational shoot the shit kind of podcast, drives her nuts. She can do more informative or narrative ones I guess but she mostly listens to audiobooks.

I’ve made a real effort to keep up with new releases this year despite having almost no time for music listening lol

 

I have not

 

I did finally listen to the new Crime In Stereo album yesterday though and it is very good

I mean, if the Bears go into the offseason and sign Sweat as a free agent, we're all saying "oh cool, good for them" right?

 

Chase makes sense. Sweat not so much

Your love of Chase Young is probably the weirdest thing about you haha

 

They have so much draft capital from that Carolina trade and both teams being poopy that it’s hard to fault them too much for overpaying to add talent

Strategy wise, it’s kinda stupid because prices are at their highest this time of year and they don’t have a reason to pay a premium to help the 2023 Bears, but I’m glad they’re #goingforit

Chase has been playing well this year and still has way more upside and potential. Last year of Sweat’s contact. Anyway, I love this deal.

 

Chase is younger and has been better this year but also would be cheaper

 

Don’t really think the Bears are in a position to be trading a borderline first for either tbh

 

Can’t argue with this either, lol, but as a WSH fan it’s nice to be on the positive side for once.

 

I mean, Sweat is beating Young in literally every stat, and has the cleaner medical records lol

 

I also thought Sweat was younger than 27, which makes the move weirder. It’s entirely possible though that the Commanders also saw more upside in Young and justifiably had a higher asking price for him than they did Sweat

 

It’s a good move for Washington for sure
