folks think trade deadlines will be as hot as free agency is

I've heard those guys on other podcasts I listen to (like blank check and podcast the ride) but just haven't

 

I’m worried that the LA Clippers are about to win the NFL trade deadline

Doughboys is an audiopodcast hosted Mike Mitchell and Nick Wiger focused on reviewing chain restaurants, including fast food restaurants, fast casual restaurants, and sit-down restaurants.

 

podcast about chain restaurants with a former tv writer and current kinda actor. it is the funniest podcast on air.

 

food talk is incidental, it's more of a hang podcast with two friends who hate each other

i mostly wfh and can do whatever i want

 

also i don't listen to every episode lol most of those pods are once a month if that for me. the ones i listen to every episode of are the big picture (2x a week), the watch (2x a week), endless scroll, doughboys, the lowe post, 60 songs that explain the 90s, hardlore, the rewatchables and bomani

 

yeah I've got a huge backlog of Blank Check episodes since they're each about an individual movie

try to prioritize the more current ones like sports and the big picture

 

I admire the commitment

 

Sure, but the NFL one in particular is def the worst.

 

honestly if anything that's pretty trimmed down for pods from where i was, still listening to two or three records a day and it was cutting into that before

 

I can't focus on podcasts unless I'm driving

 

Trying to reset my balance where I listen to one or two pods a day and the rest music, whether that’s listening or playing drums. Always feel like I’m not giving as much of myself to music these days

 

My music listening is way way down

I have some time when I get home from work around 9am-11:30am, but then my next best opportunity is after 6pm. I tend to do a lot of my music listening when I’m outside on a walk, but it gets dark early now, and it’s gonna be more exaggerated soon with daylight savings, so I find myself listening to a podcast in bed until I fall asleep

Trying to use that time after 6 to play drums, but I’m so tired most days. Idk, thinking maybe I should find a new job that gives me more regular hours
