I just spoiled myself and looked up what Sound Off does...lmao.

I saw a few people upset that your reward for basically 100%ing the game is a gag ability. Its a very very funny gag ability though lol.

 

I love that there’s no timer. That’s the one thing that always bugged me on classic Mario games.

 

Three royal seeds down. Hoping to finish this tomorrow

 

Managed to 100% all of Wonder.....except I missed the flagpole on the final stage. So now I'm trying to beat it again. My hands hurt.

Edit: Got it and am now free of this game. Had an absolute blast with it! There was one point in the final stage where three other people were also running through it with me and there was this incredible collaborative spirit where we were all dropping standees, waiting for each other to finish sections, and emoting whenever we made it through a section. It was such an amazing experience haha

It is, but my faith is unshakable, facts be damned

 

I just finished it out 100% as well! That whole last section of the final stage was such a pain until I realized that you could use the emotes/greetings to identify your character's location while they are invisible. It made that whole section SO much easier for me that I actually ended up beating that level a second time just for fun lol.

Overall, that was a great game. Not the hardest Mario game by a long shot, but it was so enjoyable to play and wasn't at all frustrating until the final level. I love how they basically allow you to make the game as easy as you want to accommodate younger players.

 

Also, the dual screens has been debunked because it's three screens now!

If I'm remembering right, Kaizo Mario (or some other romhacks) require you to use this trick. Interesting that it was shown in a guide because I always assumed it was a glitch.

 

It's cool that Nintendo chose to put out two games from their vault that never came out in the States, but it's even more interesting that Konami allowed Castlevania Legends, seeing as how they disowned the game from the official timeline.

I kinds disagree. I mean at least Nintendo’s output at least was pretty damn strong on WiiU. Not Stat Fox though lol
