Yeah it’s one thing to understand and explain why a horrific thing happened, but outright celebrating it as a good thing that what many people will view as innocent people getting killed while just living life, is just going to piss people off and tune out on anything else you have to say. And of course will open you up more to accusations of antisemitism.

 

I guess it’s because I live here and am not an outsider, but I am truly astonished that anyone can cite our invasion of Afghanistan, here and now in the year 2023, as a good example of how a country should react to a terrorist attack.
