It would be worth the maintenance if you could have your own dock. When you don’t have the money to keep it docked somewhere is when it becomes a royal pain in the ass to keep pulling it in and out of the water and towing it elsewhere.

I just kinda prefer living in a place where if i need to pick up bread it's not a 4 days journey lol

I like living in a place where I can load up my music gear and get to a venue in town within 45 minutes haha, my criteria requires me to live in proximity to a pretty cool city. Baltimore is the coolest city that meets this criteria within my budget for how much an apartment and a practice space costs these days

I'm not gonna lie too, living in a state with some of the most liberal politics in the country is kinda a draw for me. Beads basically refuses to leave Eastern MA

If I made a little bit more money Philly or Atlanta would be an option

And actually in a vacuum New Orleans is better, but here is better for 1) regional touring, due to proximity to other cities 2) not losing my gear in a flood due to being above sea level lol

I grew up in a small town and I will always have that dog in me to stay away from the big city lights.

A guy I worked with at Home Depot dropped a pallet of water from the top shelf. It was awesome.
