on THURSDAY brian daboll would not say one way or another if jones would even play again this season. he was asked point blank, would not commit to an answer. then tyrod gets KIA and danny devito cant be trusted to, as a quarterback, throw the ball, and suddenly SUDDENLY!!!! we get the news this morning that daniel jones was cleared BEFORE the game sunday???

the report that he was 'dealing with significant weakness on his left side' came out YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!! the same day he was supposedly cleared?????????

how is this kind of malpractice allowable in this league???????

 

yeah, pretty sure he wanted to bench him and didn’t wanna take the heat for it which is weird now that he doesn’t have a contingency plan anymore.

would’ve went over better if he just came out with it and said “you know, we believe in Daniel but this is a results league, it would be irresponsible for me not to make a change at some point and see what we have in Tyrod, this offense needs a spark” or some other semi-direct coach speak

 

Like just be honest that he isn’t playing well so you benched him, I don’t think a single Giants fan would’ve blamed Daboll for benching Jones OR for returning to Jones after Tyrod got hurt and the third string QB showed he cannot do shit

 

I knew Waller's hamstrings would eventually become an issue, I just wish it didn't happen hours after I dropped McBride
