good, bad bands should always tour together and stop infesting actual good tours

If anyone knows, is there any danger of Blink's dates conflicting with Green Day's dates?

Green Day tour is expected to be July-September, so there is some overlap there, but they won’t be in any cities on the same night or anything like that.

Thanks, I was unreasonably paranoid that they would fall on the same night for me lol

Now I hope there's ONE night of overlap just to see what happens

  6. If blink and Green Day had decided to tour together again they probably could have done the biggest venues in the country

Gatsbys American Dream announced their first east coast show in well over a decade & we were silent yesterday?! We've failed ourselves. Presale starts at 10 am, password is VOCALS

i personally havent seen this before but on their tour with armor for sleep, the early november are playing TRTC in reverse order. it works well with that record because they can end with ever so sweet but i thought that was a cool, little simple spin on the album play.

  12. Bloc Party did the same thing on their Silent Alarm tour. Also made sense for them because that album is very top heavy.

Cypress Hill did that with their Black Sunday Riot Fest performance. Made sense there too given the placement of "Insane in the Brain" on the track list.

Man, if some of these artists knew album plays would be such a big thing... I wonder if they might have structured these albums differently. Hah.

I saw Built To Spill do this with Keep It Like A Secret in 2019. They played the album in reverse order, skipped Carry The Zero and saved it as the last song of their encore

From what I've read and heard, concert attendance isn't really up, I just don't feel like we've had mega shows like Taylor / Beyonce / Bad Bunny be so in demand before. All the 500-1500 cap shows I've gone to feel exactly the same. Even the so called 'tik tok' bands like Bad Omens / Pierce the veil weren't bad. If you go on reddit music forums, nearly every post is about concert etiquette, fake fans etc and I've never experienced any of that.

I go to a show, enjoy it how I want, and then I go home. Never had anyone take issue with me, and I rarely take issue with others.

I do hate phones at concerts, especially people who take LOOOOOONG recordings and can't even keep their arm straight. You or no one else is going to watch that (but then maybe they're crazy on tiktok - I don't use that). I've rarely had a concert video from a phone convince me I'm missing anything but yeah, all the arms in the air, and phones blocking the view is what annoys me and the stereotypical old man stance of 'get in the moment'.

Also, I feel like the average person who says they 'loooooove concerts' goes to like 4 or 5 a year. We're all just freaks in here with our dozens.

Dates lead me to believe their final Toronto show(s) will be just before or after these QC dates

didn't recognize the venue name so assumed this isn't in my area (it isn't), clicked on the venue's IG, no mention of location, went to its website, had to click three times to find a page that said it was in Chicago. annoying lol

Not to be that guy, but The Empty Bottle is pretty much the OG quintessential Chicago indie venue so it's not surprising that they don't have their location in their Instagram bio.
