AppleTV is lowkey second-best in terms of actual quality content, right under HBO (refuse to call it MAX).

  2. Apple TV+ is easy for me to keep around since I have the Apple One family bundle with Apple Music and extra iCloud space. I've got an annual plan for HBO which (so far) keeps it at a reasonable price. Same goes for Paramount+, which I should really try to use more — I want to do all of the Twilight Zone before I cancel that. The Hulu/Disney bundle is getting expensive, but I do still watch some stuff on Hulu, and before I know it my kid will want the Disney stuff anyway. There's also just enough on Netflix for me to keep it around too. Amazon Prime still feels like a nice bonus with the free shipping, which I certainly use enough to make it worth it, although it if they start upcharging to remove ads, that might change.

If I was to keep just three streamers it would probably be Hulu, Paramount+ with Showtime, and MAX, just for the sheer number of old full series shows I like to go back and watch.

Hulu and Max have the best collection of "prestige" shows. Paramount+ and Hulu are the best streamers for news. Paramount+ has the best collection of classic TV. MAX has the best collection of classic films (outside of the Criterion Channel)

I need to give I Love Lucy on P+ A binge soon. I feel like not seeing ILL for a classic TV or sitcom enjoyer that is like a cinephile never seeing Citizen Kane or something

I’m a few episodes into season 5 of sopranos. I tore through season 4 in just a few days after taking a long break since I didn’t want to just blow through the entire show all at once since that wasn’t possible when it actually came out. Still can’t help myself tho because once I watch one episode I have to watch another. How did people wait entire seasons back in the day?

I’m glad I watched all of the Sopranos but I probably won’t rewatch them again.

You get free Paramount+ with a Walmart+ account

Also I was supposed to get free Amazon Prime with my Metro PCS account but I already had annual sub.

I have watched through the entirety of the wire like 10 times, four of which have been this year alone. Some shows are just that good.

The Wire has such a huge impact on me that I find myself quoting it weekly

. Just today at work I was saying to myself "giving a fuck when isn't my turn to give a fuck". Last week at work I was talking about bullshit performance metrics and I was like " juking the stats. you juke the stats and captains become majors "

Yeah, I have time for like, one or two episodes of a show a night so I’d rather pay for Apple TV+ and Disney+ for the new content I wanna follow then like..Netflix to watch Gilmore girls for the 10,000th time lol

The aftermath of Diana's death is gonna be tricky to pull off. What are they going to cover in the aftermath that Peter Morgan didn't already cover in 2006 with The Queen? It's the same guy adapting a real life event that he already adapted 17 years ago.
