I'd be fine with them cutting some of the older deep cuts in exchange for more new songs, honestly. Especially with it being called the One More Time tour, it would make sense if that were the case, and wouldn't hurt too bad to not hear stuff like "Dysentery Gary" or "Anthem Pt 2" if it meant we'd get to hear "Bad News" and "Anthem Pt 3." And they'd still be able to play all the singles that they'd "need" to play, as well.

 

Family Reunion, playing Happy Holidays twice, etc can all go.

If Blink-182 shot "The Rock Show" video today the theme could be giving out money for people to see them on this year's tour.

They'd blow the budget before the first chorus.

 

This was the feel good story I needed out of all this ticket madness. Really stoked the universe threw you a bone here and you get to go!

 

I somehow managed to be like 486 in the queue or something. I always do the Ticketmaster app these days, as the website has screwed me over a time or two. I was working with my best friend's wife on this and we were able to snag six tickets total. Section 111 Row L. Roughly $225 a piece. As Jason said, yolo, it could be the last time, etc... getting to see my favorite band during this reunion twice in two years is something I'll cherish forever. Portland crew is gonna have a good time at the rock show!

 

Yeah, TM sucks. I got similar seats in section 113 for $480 with fees. I’ve been kinda looking at it throughout the day. They are adding tickets to mostly sold sections and making them platinum when they were previously not for sale. This should be absolutely illegal lol

Overall I feel good about jumping on tickets since most of the good tickets in the side sections have sold or are platinum. I’d rather pay more to have seats where I want them than have to choose whatever is left closer to show time.

 

I'm stuck waiting for a friend to get his head out of his ass so we can buy our tickets (we don't know if he's in or not). I skipped the tour this year because they skipped columbus and the timing was terrible... plus I just couldn't justify paying the prices that were commanded then. So far they seem more "reasonable" this time... we'll see tomorrow...

 

The whiplash nature of this one was wild. I don't blame someone for not knowing if they're in for something 9 months from now!

 

Reasons why Amazon Music sucks (free trial):

It fucking says I can't listen to random songs on the album, but if I search for the song directly, I can play it! I'm clearly listening to Childhood but it says unavailable when I tap it in the album view.

Not to mention that the app just fucking sucks. Bogus UI. Only some songs on an album will have lyrics. I just wanted some free lossless, mannn. Back to YT Music.

 

Someone posted the full WWWY set from the 2nd night on YouTube. They sounded great. You can just feel this band is in a good spot. Also, Mark is really funny. I forget this sometimes.

 

Maybe it's because I overplayed the shit out of it when the video came out, but man, after the first 4 tracks, it feels like stepping in wet cement when it gets to One More Time. I find myself skipping the track quite a bit to get back to the momentum.

Anthem Pt.3 is a great opener but wouldn't of minded OMT to open the album...

 

One More Time has been added to my work radio station so I hear it all the time now. It sounds so weird sandwiched between like… Meghan Trainer and Imagine Dragons songs lol

Honestly can't even remember the last time I willingly listened to the radio.
Probably to record "The Rock Show" on a cassette so I could listen before the CD came out.

 

Did that for WMAA before Enema dropped, I should try to find those tapes...

 

Man I had a vhs of all their late night Enema appearances. I still wish I had those tapes too.

 

"Hurt" really doing it for me today - basically the best things about AVA made better because it's with blink.
