My lower level Beyoncé ticket was the same price as blink tickets… that was before platinum pricing kicked in lol

Those Friday and Saturday line-ups are wild!

 

Dead Bars / Copyrights / Broadway Calls is a fun show. I don't think I know a single other band on that lineup.

Yeah, Saturday's definitely the banger! But the Friday andThursday line-ups have some greatness too. It's all mostly more "traditional" 90s style pop-punk.

If that's your thing Dirt Bike Annie, the Subjunctives, Jet//Lag, and Burn Burn Burn are all worth exploring! The rest are a mystery to me. Hah. But I plan on checking them out!

 

What kind of madman lists the lineup in reverse chronological order?

I don't think I know any fall of troy music but do they actually make new music or do they just keep touring on their old albums

 

what in the hell is going on with tour ticket prices anymore

the bad bunny tour is actual insanity, 1000 to sit on the floor and 700 for lower bowl?? I have friends that were looking forward to this tour and now I just want to throw up about how outrageous that is.

that’s wild. he played Coachella this year and you could see him and 150 other artists for cheaper than that!

 

the grossest part is the the Klarna financing Ticketmaster rolled out when Taylor’s shows went on sale. now any big ticketmaster purchase can be financed for 6/12/18mos at like 23% interest.

it’s so gross seeing these kids financing concert tickets. fuck bad bunny for those prices.

Standard pricing…it’s really wild.

 

I was initially planning on making a trip across the pond for it next year but this first announcement doesn't have me excited to jump on that

 

That's a lot but I guess it's a premium of seeing a stadium artist in an arena.

 

TBH, I think the issue is more that people are willing to (effectively) take out a loan at 23% interest to pay for a concert ticket much more than the artists charging whatever they're charging.

Like, that sucks, and it makes it real obvious to me that certain artists straight-up don't care at all about their fans. But it's happening because people have shown that they're down to let it happen. The whole dynamic comes off as weird and creepy to me...

So yeah. It just sucks all-around.

 

Had a blast going over to the UK for my first slam dunk this year. Unfortunately can't go back next year do to a wedding but yeah that first lineup announcement is weak for me anyway. The headliners specifically seem like a step back.
