I was never a big fan of the office but I rewatched some of the Halloween episodes last night. Show isn’t very good.

 

it ages worse and worse each year that goes by but theres still a lot of good stuff in those early seasons

 

yup. it is not good. Parks isn't aging too well either.

you cant blame the show itself for the kind of people Pratt and Aziz turned out to be, aside from those two people (and maybe some pre-existing disdain for Rob Lowe), i don't know what about that show looks bad now.

 

Parks is a better show start to finish than The Office.

 

Haven’t rewatched all of Parks since before the series ended, but I still enjoy every episode I’ve rewatched as much as I did ten years ago whenever someone throws it on to pass some time

oh no i don't care about Pratt/Aziz, Andy and Tom were always my least favorites anyway. It's politics/Biden worship aren't great and idk, looking back Leslie kind of sucks lol

Lol no, i'm' fine. A friend of mine told my wife about it, while she was actively dealing with post-partum which was kinda annoying.

I guess it makes sense on the Brides side where it's like, months of "everything is about you and omg it's gonna be so special blah blah blah" and then it's just done.

 

The Office = Green Day
Parks and Rec = Offspring

The peaks of the Office are better, but the floor of Parks and Rec is significantly higher.

 

The Office was a very good show for about 3.5 seasons, but it going sharply downhill after that + a lot of Michael’s gaffes not being good taste jokes in 2023 = I get why people are fading it retroactively

Parks aged better and has better character development but it never really made me laugh as hard, just not a very funny show, it’s just kinda “fine” to me. Reminds me of 30 Rock. Would rather just watch a better serious show than a sorta-comedy. New Girl is way funnier in a similar type of humor

 

30 Rock is the exact opposite what. it's exclusively a comedy almost to a fault.

 

Parks and Rec owns the joke that has made me laugh hardest in my entire life. Chris dancing to One Headlight broke me lol

 

Never did watch 30 Rock.

 

Bluey is sadly a close #2 lol
